A Bit About Us ...

The creation of the Birthday Box Company was actually a gradual process, but it was officially formed in 2006 by Maxine Ievers.

Over the year's, and due to hectic lives with children and work, many of Maxine's friends could never seem to find the time to shop and really look for appropriate presents; Maxine found she was being called upon more and more often to solve their present buying problems, and, she proved to have a real knack for getting just the right items!

One of the very first gift boxes was for a lady who was leaving work to have a baby. An office collection of £50 was used to give her a great new-baby gift box, it was a Moses basket filled with baby essentials and even a few indulgent items for mum!  Another friend's daughter had a birthday party to attend a couple days later and we were asked to provide a pony-inspired present for her to take. The present was a real hit.

The Birthday Box Company is based in the middle of the beautiful Nothamptonshire countryside and we are fortunate to have a number of local suppliers and skilled crafts people offering a range of products. This means we are not only able to supply tailor-made, unique items but can also support our local trades people.

Since its inception, the company has gone from strength to strength and what started as a small personal service for friends in the local area has now grown into a complete present buying and delivery service, not just in Northamptonshire, but further afield as well.

All boxes or baskets local to us will be delivered by hand if possible, otherwise delivery is charged at cost, and we will advise you of the charges ahead of time. We offer a free delivery service within 10 miles of the town of Brackley.

In 2008 Maxine was joined by Gail who now helps with the day to day running of the business from Maxine's converted garden shed!
